Regenerative MBA (rMBA) Initiative
There are over 13,000 business schools on earth producing 120,000 MBA graduates annually. Many of them still teach the traditional MBA (tMBA) tools from the industrial era, designed for extractive, profit-centric business models that externalize negative social and climate impacts.
The Regenerative MBA (rMBA) Initiative aims to usher in a new era of business education. Our mission is to replace the traditional extractive MBA toolkits with a more circular and regenerative frameworks that equip future leaders with the tools and mindset to drive sustainable, climate-positive enterprises.
Our Vision
Our vision is to co-create a new generation of business leaders who are committed to creating value that goes beyond solely financial gains. Through a new rMBA curriculum and hands-on learning experiences, we aim to empower students to lead businesses that operate in harmony with nature, contribute positively to local communities, and drive meaningful social change.
The rMBA Initiative aims to introduce the following curriculum and pedagocy to existing business schools:
Regenerative Curriculum: Our curriculum is designed to instill a deep understanding of regenerative principles and practices. From circular economy strategies to carbon-neutral operations, students learn how to integrate sustainability into every aspect of business.
Holistic Approach: We believe that true success is measured by more than just financial performance. That's why our curriculum emphasizes the triple bottom line: People, Planet, and Profits. Our graduates are equipped to lead businesses that prioritize social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
Hands-On Learning: Theory is important, but nothing beats real-world experience. Through internships, consulting projects, and immersive field experiences, students gain practical skills and insights that prepare them to tackle real-world complex, entangled business challenges.
